For urgent care services at Beaufort Memorial Emergency & Urgent Care in Hilton Head, being in-network means we have a contract with your insurance company that sets the agreed-upon cost for your care. Being out-of-network means we don't have that contract, so your insurance company and benefit plan determine the rate you're billed.

For emergency care, state and federal law require us to treat every patient regardless of insurance status or ability to pay. Because of this, your insurance company should treat your visit as in-network, and you'll be billed the amount defined by your insurance plan.
